Something from the nether would feel right for some reason. To me even netherite would be worth it, ghast tears or nether stars. I would love to have this, even if you had to repair the spawner on the anvil and use a lot of xp and maybe some material. I saw some guys use single spawners for PvE arenas, but that's not great. I never break spawners, but building around them is such a hassle and their density is just too low, to do anything cool with them by default. 19,000 drops per hour isnt much, but thats the amount where flushing mob farms. All of that said, it would be incredibly cool to have spawners to show off and use creatively. Minecraft Easy Zombie & Skeleton Mob Spawner XP Farm Tutorial 1. Making a zombie XP farm in Minecraft Step 1: Find a spawner The most challenging part of the process is finding a. Picking up spawners is the big one, which people might disagree on, but spawners are never going to be a top tier farm, they are super rare, super manual and highly unreliable to "farm". A skeleton spawner farm provides bones, arrows, enchanted/unenchanted bows and. Picking up silver fish doesn't seem neccessary, but why not, one more item to collect and probably cool to have something besides chicken eggs to store mobs in chests. Players can find zombie or skeleton spawners inside dungeons in Minecraft. To kill all pigmen automatically, use a fall of more than 24 blocks.Actually, you can already mine the dragon egg, provided you block all spaces it can teleport to. Zombie Grinder is cross-platform, multiplayer game that features a variety of different game-modes to enjoy with friends, both locally and online. The player may then descend to this room and finish off the Pigmen with one or two sword strikes. Slabs or a similar block must also be used to block baby pigmen from escaping. This will allow the player to see and attack the feet of the Pigmen, without the Pigmen being able to attack the player. This landing area should be next to a room that whose floor is one block lower than the landing area, with a ceiling that is only 2 blocks high. Water may be used to force the Pigmen off of a cliff that is 22 blocks high, ending in a landing area far below their spawn point. Zombies: Zombies are a less desired mob for traps as of 1.8, since they now only drop rotten meat. Spiders: Spiders are more common than Cave Spiders as they occur above ground, but they drop the same loot as Cave Spiders (string and spiders eyes). If care is taken, a falling trap may also be used to collect experience and rare drops as well. Their only dropthe slime ballis the key ingredient used in crafting sticky pistons. This way, one can obtain experience and rare drops by finishing off the Pigmen manually, perhaps with a Looting enchantment. Using a fall trap has the benefit of automation, but with a suffocation trap, one is able to use Pistons to control the amount of damage to the Pigmen. Similarly, one must be careful not to use a portal in the Nether which takes them into the farm for the same reason. If precautions are not taken in the form of extra portals leading to a containment area, the player may be ambushed by one or more angry pigmen when they return to the Nether though a nearby portal. One problem with Overworld gold farms is that it is occasionally possible for angered pigmen to return to the Nether through a portal. This can be used to draw many of the pigmen out of the farm into the crusher at will. If a collector and crusher is placed directly beneath this point, the pigmen inside the farm will become angered and will track the player after the player has attacked one of them. Walling off the outer side of the largest portals and placing trapdoors on the edge of the smallest inner portals will allow the pigmen to spawn and wander into the drop or push each other into it. However, the same practice can still be used to make a hyper-efficient farm by building portals in a ring (one open to each cardinal direction) from a largest outer size to decreasing inner sizes, with per space efficiency of 82.8% achievable (out of a 23x23x23 cube with 10,080 portal blocks, using 1,800 obsidian). Since the availability of larger portals, it is no longer necessary to make a prism of portals as large portals can do as well. That way you get the xp and the special drops. From here, one can use Water to collect the Zombie Pigmen into a fall or suffocation trap. For an exp farm your mobs will have to fall 24 blocks to be killable on one hit. To build a farm in the Overworld, one can construct a rectangular prism of interlocking Nether Portals (to save Obsidian) and put open Trapdoors on the edges of the two bottom Obsidian blocks so that the Zombie Pigmen walk off.
